What are Restylane and Perlane?
Restylane is a safe, temporary, non-animal form of hyaluronic acid gel, a naturally occurring substance that binds water to cells. It is used as an injectable filler commonly used to plump lips, diminish nasal labial folds & smile lines as well as correct drooping corners of the mouth. Perlane is very similar to Restaylane but is thicker & provides more volume for deeper folds in the face.

What can Restylane/Perlane treatments do for me?
Restylane & Perlane can replace lost volume and restore more youthful contours to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, those "parenthesis" lines around your mouth.

How does Restylane/Perlane work?
Restylane & Perlane are cosmetic dermal fillers consisting of hyaluronic acid. In the body, hyaluronic acid provides fullness to the skin. Restylane & Perlane both have "water-loving" properties allowing the hyaluronic acid molecules it to bind to many times their own weight in water as they slowly break down.

How long does Restylane/Perlane last?
Restylane/Perlane typically lasts about 6 -9 months, at which time you can choose to schedule another treatment. If you choose not to continue Restylane/Perlane treatments, your lines will slowly revert to their pre-treatment appearance.

How much does a Restylane/Perlane treatment cost?
The cost of treatment depends on the number of syringes used and the specific area of the face. Costs range significantly throughout the country and major metropolitan areas such as New York City and Miami will cost a little more. A general range is between $500 -$800 per syringe. The number of syringes used varies greatly from person-to-person, depending on muscle structure, severity of lines& skin type.
